The DC-DC Buck Regulators from Jin-Power Technology are designed with simplicity, efficiency and integration in mind. These attributes result in ease-of-design, low complexity of thermal management, minimal BOM area etc. These state-of-the-art power devices, of either asynchronous or synchronous type, offer wide input voltage range (V_IN ) from 5.5V to 100V, and deliver output current (I_OUT ) up to 10A. With switching frequency running from the 150kHz to deliver output current at 10A to 1.5MHz to deliver output current at 1A, these devices leverage on the current control mode to realize maximum response time as well as minimal ripple on output voltage, and the integrated high-side Power MOSFET of low ON-state resistance to realize optimal voltage conversion efficiency and high duty cycle.
To ensure long-term operation reliability and to remedy the occasional circuit hazards, various protection schemes were built into these devices: short-circuit (SCP), over-current (OCP), over-temperature (OTP), input under-voltage lock-out (UVLO), input over-voltage (iOVP). For smooth operation in conjunction with other system components across diverse (consumer, commercial, industrial) applications, soft-start and device-enable are universally integrated on-board. Lastly, various surface-mountable and thermally efficient low-profile packages which are lead-free and made of the RoHS-compliant green molding compound were used to house these devices. These devices are good fits as power sources to components and sub-systems commonly found in consumer electronics, commercial / industrial / automotive systems.
