Jin-Power Technology offers market-proven power semiconductor devices which are suitable for the various system electronics essential to the operation of motorcycles (equally applicable to many 2- & 4-wheel electric and fuel-burning all-terrain vehicles): capacitor-discharge & magneto based ignition control, turn-signal flash control, 3-phase voltage regulator etc. These devices are designed with the key fail-safe mechanism built in. As a result, the operation reliability of the adopting vehicles can be ensured. For instance, the flash strobe controller (e.g. JP1172TS-A) incorporates cycle-by-cycle short-circuit current limiting and automatic recovery upon the expiration of the short-circuit condition. Whenever the magneto ceases to operate properly, the 3-phase voltage regulator (e.g. JP2102Q3KF) shall automatically disconnect all the circuits from the battery to guarantee minimal static current consumption for extended battery standby time. Hot-plug protection is embedded inside the 3-phase voltage regulators to prevent damage should the magneto is intermittently connected or disconnect due to the shake & vibration typical during the operation of motorcycles. These devices are housed in various surface-mounted types of low-profile lead-free packages which are manufactured with the RoHS-compliant molding compounds.
